Eleni Theodorou is a speaker, bullying prevention and mental health advocate, Social Emotional Literacy (SEL) educator and children’s author. She holds a bachelor’s and honor’s degree in psychology from the University of Pretoria in South Africa, and MS in sports psychology from Capella University in the United States.

Born and raised in South Africa, she currently lives in the United States where she teaches the Art of Compassion through her multi-sensory, culturally-rich and peer-reviewed Noko The Knight® children’s series, wholesome bullying prevention and SEL curriculums, school assemblies, professional development training and workshops internationally.

Furthermore, her HEALTHY FOOD | HEALTHY MOOD™ program, inspired by her tale NOKO THE KNIGHT’S KITCHEN DELIGHTS! 3, is an engaging initiative for K-5 students that combines the magic of storytelling with the science of nutrition. Through interactive activities, kids explore how their food choices impact their mood, mental clarity, and overall well-being. Guided by Noko’s adventures, students learn to make smarter food choices while enjoying hands-on experiences that make learning about health fun and memorable. Additionally, the program provides mentorship opportunities, helping young participants develop positive habits and a supportive community, all while embracing a spirit of wellness and curiosity.

Noko The Knight® is also incorporated into Theater in Education (TIE) programs as part of her holistic approach to bullying awareness and prevention, engaging children and their families, and connecting communities.

After working with schools for years, Eleni recognized the need for creative staff and parent wellness initiatives and presents captivating workshops that help to cultivate a healthier school and office culture and climate. Eleni has had the pleasure of serving different types of organizations with her enthralling Paint Your Purpose™ staff wellness workshops, encouraging employees to be curious about their purposeful paths and how these can transform the work environment, leading to happier, more productive, and committed employees who drive organizational success.

Eleni is a dedicated volunteer to special needs children, senior citizens, and is an active supporter of non-profit organizations dedicated to preventing cruelty to animals. Eleni welcomes, and is involved in, various community-focused endeavors.
