Eleni proudly introduces her Greek heritage through this story, as Noko’s cousin Skatz – a feisty little hedgehog – flies to South Africa all the way from Greece, bringing interesting gifts for all. These gifts offer some valuable time spent together as Noko and Skatz learn some new skills in the kitchen with Mrs. Porcupine! Not only do they learn how to make Noko’s family’s FAVORITE meal, but also about the healthy ingredients needed in order to be fit, fast AND smart!

You’ll also be introduced to a few Greek words and phrases in this tale! Oh, in case you didn’t already know, Skatz is the abbreviation of the Greek word for hedgehog: “Skatzoxiros“!
